Welcome to our movement
We are a collective of proactive residents in Walvis Bay who have come together to address the housing crisis by taking matters into our own hands. We formed Backyard Tenants Investment to apply for land, service it, and build homes for our members.
Our Mission and Vision
Mission: To create a self-sufficient community where members work together to achieve land ownership and build their homes.
Vision: To be a model of community empowerment and proactive development, inspiring other communities to take similar initiatives.
